Waynedale UMC Kids

Our mission is to create an environment for kids to learn how much Jesus loves them, grow them up to become loving followers of Jesus, and have a blast along the way!

What do Sundays look like for kids?

Sunday School (Ages 4+)

During Sunday School, children get together to hear an interactive and story-based lesson from the Bible. Following the lesson and short discussion, your child will enjoy creating a craft that relates to the lesson while having fun with kids just like them.

Nursery Care

We offer nursery care from 8:30 AM – noon. Our nursery provides a safe environment with kid-sized facilities and is supported by an all-star team of volunteers.

Children’s Moment

We believe kids are just as much of a part of our community as anybody else! That’s why each 8:45 AM service features a small section where we have a short lesson geared towards them specifically.

What to expect when you arrive

Check in your child at the Sunday School room east of the fellowship hall downstairs.

Receive Your Pager

If you are checking your child into the nursery you will receive a small pager in case we need to contact you during the service.

Pick Up

Kids wait in the classroom while you return the pager and verify you are their parent or guardian.
